Reason and Reality Group Educational Enhancement Program

The Reason and Reality Group Educational Enhancement Program is designed to complement, not replace, a student's existing education. Rather than serving as a traditional curriculum, the program provides structured resources that help students strengthen critical thinking, reasoning, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and respectful discussion. Its materials are intended to work alongside public and private schools, homeschooling, and independent learning by reinforcing skills that are valuable across all academic disciplines and throughout adult life.

At the center of the Educational Enhancement Program is Philosopher's Cove, supported by an instructor guide, parent companion resources, and additional enrichment materials that encourage students to ask thoughtful questions, evaluate evidence, recognize logical fallacies, and develop well-reasoned conclusions. The program emphasizes learning how to think rather than what to think, promoting intellectual independence, civil dialogue, and lifelong learning while respecting the diversity of viewpoints found in families and educational communities.

Our History

Fifty Years in the Making

Many successful businesses begin with an idea, spend months or a few years in planning and development, and eventually become established organizations. Reason and Reality Group, Inc. followed a very different path.

Its origins trace back more than fifty years—not as a business venture, but as a lifelong pursuit of research, writing, and the search for truth. For decades, thousands of hours were devoted to studying philosophy, science, theology, critical thinking, and human reasoning. During that time, books, manuscripts, educational materials, and original theoretical work were developed, refined, and documented long before there was any intention of forming a corporation.

Only after this extensive body of work had matured did the need for a formal organization become clear. Reason and Reality Group, Inc. was established not to create ideas, but to preserve, expand, publish, and responsibly share decades of research for the public good. The corporation serves as the steward of that work, providing a foundation through which educational resources, publications, research, and community initiatives can continue to grow and reach future generations.

In this sense, Reason and Reality Group, Inc. was not built around a business idea.
