Who Is This Course For?
Philosopher's Cove is designed for students regardless of where they receive their education. Whether a student is enrolled in a homeschool program, public school, private school, charter school, virtual school, or hybrid learning environment, the course is intended to strengthen critical thinking, reasoning, sound judgment, and character development.
Because the course is self-paced, families may use it throughout the school year, on weekends, during school breaks, or as a summer enrichment program. The lessons are designed to complement a student's existing education rather than replace it, providing opportunities to develop important reasoning skills that support success in academics and everyday life.
This short 15-day course is designed for middle school students and introduces the foundations of critical thinking and reasoning in a clear, age-appropriate way. Through simple lessons, everyday examples, and guided reflection, students learn how to ask better questions, evaluate claims, separate fact from opinion, and make thoughtful decisions.
The course is written in easy-to-follow language and is ideal for families, homeschool settings, or anyone who wants to help students build stronger thinking habits that support success in school and everyday life.
